Sales Numbers Rise in Brazos County Real Estate Market | Published: 6/11/2016 | Homesnap Real...

The Brazos County market looked healthy in this week's report, as the number of home sales rose 14.7%, pushing the total to 39 homes sold over the last 30 days. In comparison, nearby Harris County had 4,092 sales in the same time frame, the most of all neighboring counties. Potential buyers should take note that the median sales price in Brazos County climbed to $185,000 and that there are four months of inventory still available.

But sellers can expect more competition, due to a three-week upward trend in homes coming into the market, now up to 39 for the same period. There are four months of inventory remaining in Brazos County, and the market is swinging toward the seller, but that may be offset as the median sales price dropped to $189,000 this week.
